Discord

We use this to auto-grant your @Verified Student role in the Thryve server the second your ID is approved. You must already be in the Thryve Discord for this to work , join here if you haven't yet.

Discord username or user ID * Your username (not nickname): Discord → User Settings → My Account → copy Username (e.g. saras_t, no #0000).
If your role doesn't appear, try your user ID instead: enable Developer Mode (User Settings → Advanced) → right-click your name → Copy User ID → paste it here.

Verify you're a high schooler

Take a single photo that shows your physical school ID with a piece of paper next to or below it. On the paper, handwrite your Discord username (the same one you typed above) and today's date. Both the ID and the handwritten paper must be visible in the same photo.

Why: this is the only way we can tell a real student from a generated image. We will reject screenshots, scans of digital IDs without the handwritten paper, AI-generated images, and photos where the handwriting is missing or doesn't match. Cover or blur any student ID number , we only need to read your name, the school name, your handwritten Discord username, and the date.

Example layout: lay your school ID flat on a table, place a sticky note or sheet of paper right next to it, write your Discord username and today's date by hand, snap one photo from above so both are sharp and readable.
